Yes, it's been two weeks since our kitchen was first packed up, and we're making do with a few borrowed appliances and lots of eating out. Last Monday, the remediation guy came out to collect the HEPA filters and industrial-sized dehumidifiers, but our subfloor in the kitchen was still too wet. They added a few fans to help dry everything out, and hopefully tomorrow our 24/7 white noise generators will be retired. Then they'll remove anything that was not covered in mold that insurance is replacing, such as the remaining backsplash and the upper cabinets. After that, we hope to have our new kitchen built to our tastes and ready to use in short order!
