Most of the first floor was packed into boxes yesterday morning. They had to clear all of the rooms with hardwoods since they will have to refinish those floors to match the replacement flooring in the kitchen. That left behind a very forlorn looking downstairs... except for the great room, which looks like an episode of Hoarders with bags of food and basic kitchen necessities from our pantry stashed in ever spare nook and cranny.
In case you were wondering why all the drama over a little mold caused by a dishwasher leak, I present to you just some of the visible evidence that was hiding in my bottom cabinets. I'm just glad that professionals are cleaning up this mess! Oh, and don't forget the basement. I was told to not go down there again till the mold has been cleaned up, hence no pictures.
