- Before I leave for work, I must check my car and purse for his keys, sunglasses, etc.
- Earplugs don't work when he's snoring less than two feet away
- Cooking for two is better than cooking for one, but the dirty dishes still suck
- It's good to have a night to myself while he's at Karaoke
- If I want to live long enough to make it to work in the morning, I will not pull the bed covers off of my sleeping husband, even if he did sleep through his alarm
- Compared to his nieces, I am chopped liver (and so are his parents)
- Asking him to do something more than twice in a one-hour period is considered nagging
- He mocks my Cafe World on Facebook, but his online role-playing game is fine
- If he is awake and at home, chances are one of the televisions is on
- He does not believe that two people create enough dirty clothes, towels, etc. to have to do laundry every weekend

Lessons Learned
Tomorrow is four weeks since the wedding, and I have learned a lot during that time...

Hehehehe. I've learned in almost 7 years that my husband does not know what a napkin or paper towel is for and that its against man law apparently to wipe up something you spill. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not an online game, it's based 100% on my computer. I may be a geek, but I'm not a SUPER geek...yet!!

I'd also have to add (having lived now platonically with a man for a few years), that men are unaware of the benefits and basica functionality of a plate 99% of the time. Who needs a plate when a napkin in the other hand will do just fine, while standing over the counter dripping hot sauce over every conceivable surface? Then that goes back to the whole "wipe up something you spill" comment.
