I dragged Dave through the Mall of Georgia last weekend, looking for the *right* pair of white shoes, only to end up at Payless. Yes, dear readers--I found my wedding shoes on sale (to go with the
clearance dress I bought with a coupon).

Now that I have plenty of "something new" and have figured out what to do for "something blue," I really need to figure out the "old" and "borrowed" parts. How old exactly does "something old" have to be for it to count anyway? I have my emerald ring that my parents bought me for my 16th birthday--is that old enough?
Well, if you want something blue or borrowed, I still have the Braves garter that you and your mom made me....Or, you can do what I did for the something blue and go to Victoria's Secret and get a cute pair of 'Bride' panties that had the blue bows on them.
ReplyDeleteHmm...well, I think there is an old saying to have a penny in your shoe (or something along those lines). I probably still have the one I put in my shoe somewhere in the wedding stuff (that is still in my parents' basement) and if I can find it you're welcome to use that as your "borrowed." I can't remember...but I may have used a coin I got from England. I'll have to check...
ReplyDeleteMy blue is a pair of panties I picked up at VS (on clearance, of course! LOL)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if I can get a penny to stay in my shoe since they're open-toed... or is this another job for duct tape?
