Invitation Angst
When working with seal-n-send invitations, it is important to consider stamp placement. In an effort to get a head start, I stamped 80 invitations a month or so ago, but didn't think to fold one first and double-check where the stamp was supposed to be. Dave (aka Mr. Impatient) seemed to understand that it would be best to just let me sit there and mentally berate myself as I patiently pried up 80 stamps.
Dave has a friend who numbered her wedding RSVP cards in case someone mailed one back without a name written in. We both agreed that this was a good idea, but then I got a little too "fold and seal" happy while fixing my stamp problem... I had already sealed 60 invitations when I realized that I forgot to number the reply cards. So I had to squeeze the folded invitations open to write numbers on 2/3 of our invitations since there weren't enough seals to open them all and then re-seal them.
I was so happy to finally finish these up on Saturday morning! I dropped the stack of invitations off at the post office today, so they should be in mail trucks heading all over the place this evening! Yippee!
