My
AGD little sister, Crystal, got married yesterday. It was a small ceremony on the deck of a country club in
Fayetteville, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous at 6 o'clock in the evening. Dinner and dancing followed inside, and the favor was a CD with songs from the ceremony and reception, along with several songs that had personal significance to the newlyweds.
Earlier in the week, I realized that I had worn the same dress to every wedding I have attended in the past five years whenever I wasn't a bridesmaid. So yesterday morning, I went on a mission to find a reasonably priced dress to wear to my little's wedding. I found a black and white damask print dress at Ross that I fell in love with the moment I put it on. I justified my purchase of the dress and a black shrug to go with it by telling myself it would be perfect to wear again for my rehearsal dinner...
P.S. Doesn't Dave clean up nicely? He even got a haircut for the occasion!
