What Gray?

Thanks to my mother's DNA, I started going gray in college, and my four years as a public school teacher didn't help slow it down! I used to color it myself, but that was a pain to do every 4 to 6 weeks. So yesterday, I broke down and got my hair "stained" to hide the gray in anticipation of an engagement photo shoot (which I still have to schedule...) Ginger also trimmed it so that it will grow out nicely for the wedding.

The stain turned my hair darker than I expected, but there are some good points:
  • It will fade after a couple of washes
  • It brings out the orange-ish highlights in my hair
  • It hides the gray!

  1. Oh I do the same! I used to just get highlights to hide the gray but I've got so much now that I have to color it all then add highlights. Haha. Public schools will do that to ya (so will 2 yr olds!) Looks good!
