There was also lots of caulking in the kitchen and bathrooms with the help of my FIL, a bit of time spent trying to figure out how to replace a broken microwave handle (it's not quite as easy as the YouTube video makes it out to be, even for three college-educated adults), and a day devoted to steam cleaning carpet with my mother for company... but those things make for rather boring pictures!
