It's hard to believe Thanksgiving was over a week ago! I figured I'd better post before the month is over...
For Thanksgiving, Dave and I drove over to his sister's house to spend
the day with his family. We arrived with food to add to the feast: my
customary green bean casserole, a new recipe for pumpkin oatmeal
muffins, and Dave's Crispix mix. I don't know who was more surprised
that Dave made the Crispix mix completely on his own--me or the rest of
his family! The highlight of the evening was when my two nieces cuddled
up to me so I could read their new bilingual book in both English and
Spanish.

My family attended our second annual Day-After-Thanksgiving Gwinnett
Gladiators game on Friday night. It's always fun to watch grown men
skate around after a little plastic puck and occasionally start fights
with each other! Saturday evening, Dave and I went with my sister to see the Atlanta
Symphony Orchestra play the Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black
Pearl score along with the movie. We were in the front row of the
highest balcony, and it was a pretty awesome experience.

Update 12/4/2012: My phone gave me back the photos that had mysteriously disappeared, so I've added a few more pics. It's rumored that Santa may bring me a new smartphone for Christmas... one that doesn't eat my pictures!
