After washing up and taking a nap, it was time to meet up with the ladies of PINS for an afternoon spent cross-stitching and chatting about every subject under the sun. I'm getting close to finishing the sewing room!Monday, December 13, 2010
Weekend in Pictures
Dave and I had a busy weekend! Friday night, we met after work for a quick dinner before the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert at the Gwinnett Arena. Awesome show, though I am glad I brought earplugs!
We woke up insanely early Saturday morning to walk the Jingle Jog 5K (picture of the king and queen towers below taken during our walk). We were invited by Dave's sister, but she was sick, so his Mom came out to walk with us instead. We also ran into my favorite baby sister, Sarah, her husband, Robert, and my niece puppy, Booger!

We had a little time to catch our breath before we were off to a gourmet dinner at Arby's and a wonderful Christmas concert with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra! Our friend, John, sings bass in the ASO chorus.
Sunday was our six month anniversary! Dave spent most of the day out at Bobby G's Chicago Eatery watching his beloved Bears and imagining he was in Chicago with the snow flurries blowing around outside. I stayed home and finished things like laundry, wrapping presents, and addressing Christmas cards. See the bubble envelope with three bows? I commented to Dave that instead of toting my Christmas present around in his car while he procrastinated wrapping it, he should just put a bow on it and leave it under the tree--so he put three on instead (he claims the red, white, and blue is just coincidence). The packing-tape-wrapped box is one of his presents from me *evil grin*
