I've been slowly changing my name. Now that I have copies of our marriage license, I can tackle more of the "legal" changes. Here are some of the things I've already done:
- church envelopes (actually, this was done before the wedding...)
- ID badge for work
- all email accounts
- personal and work voicemail
- electric bill
Pending changes:
- Social Security card (en route)
- credit cards (also en route)
- water bill
Things I still need to do:
- bank accounts
- driver's license
- library card
I know there are plenty more that will pop up at random times, but that keeps life exciting, right? Feel free to chime in with other places I may not have thought of to change my name...
I can't think of any. I went to change my name on my Gwinnett Co library card and they canceled it because I no longer live in the county. I was ill over that; I'd had that card since I was little.
ReplyDeleteI also never changed my name on my Paypal account...they wanted a copy of my marriage license!
