Marriage License

Tomorrow morning, Dave and I are planning to go to the courthouse when it opens to get our marriage license. There is a very special reason why we chose June 4th: it is my parents' 33rd wedding anniversary. Look how little they are in their wedding picture!

To obtain your marriage license, you are required to bring three things: photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.), birth certificate, and a decree of divorce or death certificate from any previous marriages. Since the last does not apply to us, and the first is easy, that just leaves the birth certificate. Mine has been stuck to the middle of the refrigerator with a giant magnet for the past week. Dave "thinks" he knows where his is... if he can't find it, he is guaranteed the top spot on my crap list until he is able to produce this document!
