Earlier this month, we had a home improvement day scheduled with my parents to swap out the old builder-installed ceiling fans. Before they arrived, I had flipped the blades on the downstairs fan, de-bladed the old fans upstairs, and assembled the blades for the two new fans. Dad and Dave did all the electrical work this time, so I got to take lots of pictures. This was the last of the brass fixtures we needed to replace, so one huge check mark on the "to do" list!
We still haven't started painting, but there are spackle spots on all the walls, and I did make some progress with our side yard this past weekend. I'll post pictures once the new weed-free flower bed down the side of the house actually looks presentable.
