Black Friday

Dave and I brought two sets of dishes into our marriage, and even thought they are manufactured by the same company, they will not stack with each other. It took over a year to find a dish set we agreed on to replace our mismatched dishes, and then I waited for them to go on sale...

I was overjoyed to see the exact set we wanted in Target's Black Friday ad! On our way home from Thanksgiving dinner with the Schulze family, we drove by Target to see how crowded it was in anticipation of their midnight opening. The line wrapped all the way down the front of the store and around the corner... not worth the wait just for dishes! I got up early this morning to get a few doorbuster specials at Family Christian Bookstore and dropped by Target on the way home to see what was left. The best associate *ever* showed me where the secret Corelle stash was hiding on an end-cap, and I got our new dishes without having to stand in line with the midnight crazies! I am so excited about the cabinet space I will have now that I'm only storing one set of dishes!
