Chicago Bound: Wacky Weather

We arrived in Chicago on a chilly Tuesday evening, and the weather didn't get much better from there. While we were visiting Dave's grandparents on Wednesday, it was occasionally sunny as the water from the morning's deluge receded.  However, that evening at the Cubs game, there was a perpetual cold mist over the field until the skies opened up during the seventh inning.  The next day wasn't much better when Dave and I walked from the train station to Navy Pier (three miles... in the cold... with wind that pushed me around...)

I got a Cubs shirt and a promise of ice cream
since we were going to a Cubbies game on my birthday
Before I was frozen enough to ask for a rain check on the ice cream
A rain delay, which turned into calling the game...
Cool buildings on the "forced march" to Navy Pier
Flags at Navy Pier with a lighthouse in the background
Dinner at Lou Malnati's--see my poor wind-burned cheeks?
