House Answer

In response to House Hunters: Buford Dam...

Dave's favorite was House #2 with the large lot and the full unfinished basement. We both loved the neighborhood, but I was concerned that the galley kitchen wouldn't have enough storage and that we would have to spend a lot before we moved in to re-carpet upstairs and repaint some of the more obnoxiously colored rooms.

My favorite was House #4 because it had a nice floorplan, the backyard was wooded, and it was move-in ready. The kitchen needed more cabinets for storage, but there was space to do that later.  It didn't have Dave's basement, and it was also located a bit farther south than we were hoping to live.

House #4, Pinecrest Station subdivison

We almost put in an offer on Dave's favorite, but I talked us out of it after sleeping on our decision.  We did put in an offer on my favorite, but there was a second offer on the table.  In the end, both houses ended up under contract, but neither will be ours.  Hopefully this means that there is a house out there that will be both of our favorite!
