I've been trying to accomplish a lot lately, which has frazzled me a bit. Unfortunately, a lot of planning is dependent on booking a reception site, which has not been done yet, or on a more definite guest list, which we're still working on. I've decided that if we can have these two things accomplished by Thanksgiving, I'll be able to breathe a little easier.
To that end, we've checked out a few venues, and we have our favorites. We've already toured the Morrow Center, which should be completed soon. It's biggest downfall is probably the higher price tag (I'm cheap, remember?). Next week, Mom and I are visiting the Clayton County International Park. Dave and I drove around the grounds last weekend, but they only schedule tours for the Lakeview Events Complex during the week. Their biggest limitation is the number of preferred caterers: 2. And since one is strictly BBQ, we're down to one... though they seem to have a nice selection on their menu.
